Oral Care Suppliers & Factory in the Lima Market

High-Performance Toothbrush Manufacturing & OEM/ODM Supply Chains Tailored for Peruvian Brands, Dental Networks, and Distributors

LIMA MARKET OUTLOOK

The Changing Landscape of Oral Care in Peru

The Metropolitan Lima oral care sector is undergoing a rapid evolution, driven by growing urban disposable income, expanding health consciousness, and aggressive campaigns by the Colegio Odontológico del Perú (COP). Lima, as the economic hub holding roughly one-third of the country's population, represents the primary driver for high-value dental consumables and modern electric toothbrush configurations.

Historically dominated by conventional, low-margin manual toothbrushes, the Peruvian market is pivoting towards premiumization. Consumers in districts such as Miraflores, San Isidro, and Santiago de Surco are actively seeking sonic toothbrush systems, charcoal-infused filaments, and recyclable materials. This trend presents a major entry point for local pharmacy giants (such as Inkafarma and Mifarma), supermarket chains (PlazaVea and Metro), and independent dental clinic syndicates looking to introduce high-quality private-label electric brush ranges.

Furthermore, DIGEMID (Dirección General de Medicamentos, Insumos y Drogas) enforces strict health registrations for oral hygiene products. Establishing a resilient supply chain with an experienced manufacturer that understands global regulatory alignments (ISO 9001, FDA, and CE) is crucial for securing seamless customs clearance at Callao Port and building strong consumer trust.

Expanding Middle Class Demands

Rising adoption of cosmetic dentistry and private orthodontic plans in Lima increases the demand for specialized, high-density filament brush heads.

Regulatory & Certification Standards

DIGEMID sanitary notification guidelines require raw materials to be biocompatible, BPA-free, and thoroughly documented at the manufacturing site.

Sustainable Material Initiatives

A growing demographic of eco-conscious consumers in Lima is seeking out biodegradable and PCR-based plastic toothbrushes to limit urban landfill buildup.

Shenzhen Jiasheng Industrial Production Plant
GLOBAL PIONEER SINCE 1991

About Shenzhen Jiasheng Industrial Co., Ltd.

Shenzhen Jiasheng Industrial Co., Ltd. was established in 1991. At the beginning of its establishment, we mainly produced synthetic filaments, which were widely used in hair brushes, toothbrushes, makeup brushes, false eyelashes and other fields. After years of research and development, we have accumulated rich experience in the performance of filaments and the development and application of new materials.

Because we want to get closer to consumers and understand the market needs in depth so that materials can be used more widely, in 2008 we joined forces with downstream manufacturers to start the production of hair brushes, toothbrushes, makeup brushes, and finished false eyelashes.

As plastics pollute the environment increasingly, we are also looking for ways to continuously improve the service life of our products and continue to increase the use of recyclable, degradable and other environmentally friendly materials. In response to the impact of global geopolitical uncertainties and trade barriers, we have begun preparing to build production bases in Thailand and Vietnam in 2024, ensuring supply chain flexibility and uninterrupted delivery for clients worldwide, including the competitive Latin American market.

Vertical Integration: Filament to Finished Goods

By controlling both material synthesis and finished toothbrush production, we optimize performance, cost structures, and speed-to-market for our partners in Lima.

Why Jiasheng's Integrated Pipeline Wins

Unlike standard assembly factories that buy filaments from third parties, Jiasheng began as a specialized synthetic filament developer in 1991. This unique heritage enables us to customize bristle diameter, elasticity, dye properties, and wear resistance directly at the chemical level. Whether you require dense charcoal-infused bristles for deep-cleaning or ultra-soft tapered nylon for sensitive post-surgery gums, we formulate the exact material specs to suit your requirements.

01
Innovation & Carbon Abatement: We prioritize green R&D. By actively replacing petrochemical bases with eco-friendly alternatives and reducing plastics, we help our clients lower their carbon footprint.
02
OEM/ODM Customization Capabilities: From industrial handle design and functional mechanical configuration to packaging localized in Spanish for Lima retail shelfs, we provide comprehensive, stress-free support.

Integrated Facilities

Our integrated production facilities allow us to tightly control manufacturing timelines. From design blueprint approvals to loading containers at the port, our turnkey process speeds up delivery.

Global Operations Strategy

With our upcoming production facilities in Thailand and Vietnam (launching in 2024), we offer multi-origin manufacturing to help you optimize import tariff strategies and secure supply chains.

Optimized Shipping to Callao

We work directly with major ocean freight providers, offering direct container transport from Shenzhen or Ningbo to Callao Port. We assist with custom clearance document preparation and billing.

Continuous Development in Eco-Friendly Polymers

Sustainable manufacturing is a core focus at Jiasheng. We have invested heavily in finding alternatives to traditional fossil-fuel-based plastic handles and bristles. Our team has successfully processed bio-based polyamides derived from natural castor oil plants, along with PLA (polylactic acid) polymers. This means we can supply biodegradable and recyclable toothbrush options that don't compromise on bristle stiffness, hygiene, or color vibrancy.

By selecting our sustainable options, retail partners in Lima can build eco-friendly marketing campaigns, matching the global push to reduce single-use plastic waste.

Peru & Global Oral Care Supply Chain FAQ

Expert answers addressing the regulatory, customs, material sourcing, and logistical questions of importing personal care goods into the Lima market.

In Peru, toothbrushes and replacement brush heads are regulated as hygiene and personal care products. Importers must secure a Sanitary Registration (Notificación Sanitaria Obligatoria - NSO) issued by DIGEMID. We assist our B2B partners by providing detailed material data sheets, formulation clearances confirming our products are BPA-free, and factory ISO certifications to streamline this approval process.

Unlike standard assembly factories, we began producing synthetic filaments in 1991. We carefully inspect raw polymer resins, extrusion profiles, and filament diameters. In our assembly workshop, we use automatic tufting machinery and perform extensive end-rounding testing. This ensures that every bristle tip is smooth and polished to protect sensitive gum tissues.

Our standard production lead time is 25 to 35 days from deposit payment and packaging design approval. Ocean transit from Shenzhen or Ningbo ports to Callao Port in Peru typically ranges from 28 to 35 days, depending on carrier routing. In total, partners should budget 60 to 70 days from final PO placement to warehouse arrival in Lima.

Yes. In response to global plastic reduction targets, we have developed biodegradable handles and filaments. We work with castor-oil-derived nylon polymers and PLA-based structural components. These sustainable options deliver the performance of conventional plastics while significantly reducing carbon footprints and landfill waste.

Our expansion into Thailand and Vietnam helps mitigate geopolitical risk and optimize import duty structures. These facilities allow us to dispatch containers from multiple Southeast Asian ports, providing our global clients with improved supply chain security and flexible sourcing options.
